Madelynn Martiniere is a junior Emerging Media and Communications major at University of Texas at Dallas. She is a media and advertising aficionado, popular history buff and passionate writer of whatever whim takes her.
She was the PR Director of Atlanta’s local hackerspace, Freeside Atlanta and is now spearheading the Dallas equivalent in historic Deep Ellum.
In her spare time, when not writing or reading, you can find her knitting, sewing, cooking, singing, dancing, or generally causing shenanigans.

I heard about your Freeside and was interested in coming to one of your weekly meetings. I can’t seem to get much info out of the website though – I keep going around in circles like a dope. Do I need to do anything in particular, besides show up? Any details would be great.
